HELP US CONTINUE TO HONOR ELORA’S SPIRIT

In April 2006, Elora Geier, a 7th-grader in the North Allegheny School District, lost her life after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Elora faced her illness bravely as she had faced so many other challenges in her life. Before she was two years old, she was hit by a car and sustained a brain injury. But, her academic and physical struggles did not stop her “can do” attitude and her loving spirit. Elora brought out the best in others and Elora’s H.O.P.E. Fund wants to continue this tall order.

About Us

Elora’s H.O.P.E. Aligns with Pittsburgh Foundation

In 2015, Elora’s H.O.P.E. aligned with the Pittsburgh Foundation to establish a perpetual scholarship fund for future Special Education teachers. Additionally Dan and Leslie Geier have founded the Patient Life Committee at West Penn Hospital’s T7 Oncology Floor with proceeds from the fundraising efforts being directed there in hopes of providing non-medical support to patients suffering blood cancers.

We are pleased to now be associated with the Pittsburgh Foundation as we continue our efforts to help others in memory of Elora.
